Weggis is an attractive place to live but also to spend your vacations. The village is situated directly at the border of the ‘Vierwaldstättersee’. Thanks to the privileged situation and the mild climat it attrackts people from all ages and places from the world. The village is connected with the entire world either over the cablecar going up to the Rigi, the different passenger ships over the lake or the different public busses. Our apartment is situated high above the lake at the steep cost exposed to the south. You can easily reach it by care in only 5 minutes from the centre of the village. You can also reach the house by foot in approximately 30 – 45 minutes by foot. The way is following a road with very few traffic and along a pedestrian path. They are all necessary stores directly in the village.
The surrounding is inviting for all kind of outdoor sports like mountain bike, hiking etc. and the big terrace is inviting to relax. Should the weather be unfriendly, there are still great options like making use of the warm fire in the chimney in the salon or visiting a museum close to Lucerne.
You can reach the mountain Rigi by cable care from the village of Weggis, or by the cog rail road from Vitznau. But you can also start by foot directly from the house and reach the beautiful ‘Felsentor’ in 1,5 hours and Rigi Kaltbad in 3 hours.
